My.Games' hunting shooter clears 3m downloads and $3m in revenue

My.Games' mobile hunting game Hunting Rivals has generated more than $3m in revenue and passed 3m installs since its May 2026 launch. The title has also reached 1m monthly active users, according to the company. It offers six-player PvP hunting matches and will receive ongoing updates with new regions, animals, gear and gameplay.
Hunting Rivals arrived in May 2026 as a free-to-play mobile release. It places players in wild landscapes, from African savanna to thick forests, where they can find lions, African buffalo, warthogs, moose, bears, wolves and silver foxes. The game uses varied animal reactions and different hunting situations.
Its player-versus-player mode pits six users against one another, rewarding quick reactions, precision and fieldcraft. My.Games has said it will keep adding fresh areas, creatures, equipment and modes over time. The studio has also discussed live-service operations, research and development, and a $50m yearly goal for new enduring franchises.
The milestone could affect mobile players, developers and publishers. A successful free-to-play hunting title may encourage more live-service games in this niche, potentially influencing how studios allocate resources. For players, social matches could strengthen online communities, while simulated hunting may shape perceptions of wildlife and competition. The game's revenue and user figures may also draw attention from advertisers, platform holders and investors, though the long-term societal effects remain uncertain.
