Devolver Digital and Francis Coulombe have scheduled Look Outside for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on October 30, 2026. This pixel-art survival horror RPG is set within a single apartment building after a bizarre event changes anyone who peers through a window into a monstrous form.
Players collect food, supplies, and weapons while meeting unusual human and nonhuman characters. Battles are turn-based against over 150 individually designed creatures, with spacing between combatants mattering. The adventure is said to last 10 to 12 hours, include twelve bosses, recruitable companions, visitors, and several endings. Devolver will release it digitally.
The announcement may give Nintendo Switch 2 owners another indie horror option and could help draw attention to smaller experimental RPGs. Fans of resource management, turn-based combat, and unusual horror may find a distinctive experience, while digital-only availability could matter to collectors. Its impact may remain concentrated among niche audiences rather than broad mainstream culture.
