FUT sweep TYLOO as SunPayus shines on debut
FUT secured a 2-0 victory over TYLOO in their first match at PGL Masters Bucharest. Álvaro "SunPayus" García led the team with a 1.47 rating in his debut, helping FUT win Nuke 13-9 and Ancient 13-6. The result put FUT in the 1-0 pool while TYLOO fell to 0-1.
FUT began PGL Masters Bucharest with a 2-0 series win against TYLOO. On Nuke, FUT trailed 2-7, reduced the gap before halftime, took the second pistol, and won four straight rounds after 9-9 to close 13-9. Ancient ended 13-6 after TYLOO drew level at the break but failed to win another round.
SunPayus, signed from G2’s bench this month, replaced cmtry and had been outside G2’s starting five after r1nkle arrived. He recorded 34 kills, 18 deaths and a 1.47 rating. Krabeni added 38 kills and a 1.45 rating, while dem0n posted 31 kills and 1.30. FUT moved to 1-0; TYLOO dropped to 0-1.
FUT’s opening win may boost visibility for its new lineup and SunPayus’s debut, potentially drawing more attention from Counter-Strike fans and sponsors. TYLOO’s 0-1 start could increase pressure on its players and Chinese-speaking supporters, while the tournament’s global audience may see renewed interest in roster changes and AWPer performance. Such results can shape fan discussion, player confidence, and team narratives, though a single group-stage match is unlikely to determine long-term outcomes.
