Logitech G launches Pro X3 Superstrike mouse and a host of new peripherals
Logitech G announced fifteen new products at its G PLAY 2026 showcase, including the Pro X3 Superstrike mouse with improved balance and power efficiency. The lineup also features the Pro X Control mousepad, Pro X2 Rapid keyboard, and Pro X3 Lightspeed headset. Additionally, Logitech introduced the Yeti 2 microphone and new sim racing gear.
The Pro X3 Superstrike mouse builds on the Pro X2’s chassis, but Logitech’s HITS technology delivers a claimed 50% efficiency gain, potentially extending battery life during long tournaments. The accompanying Pro X Control pad uses a knitted cloth over 6 mm foam, aiming for a stable, consistent surface. Meanwhile, the Pro X2 Rapid keyboard’s OLED screen lets players adjust magnetic switch sensitivity on the fly, and the Pro X3 Lightspeed headset upgrades its mic to 48 kHz for clearer comms.
Beyond esports, Logitech refreshed creator and sim gear. The Yeti 2 microphone adds a proximity sensor and AI noise reduction, while G HUB Replay automatically clips highlights. For racers, standalone G923, RS50 direct-drive, and hall-effect RS Pedals SE were announced, plus a McLaren Edition wheel. Firmware updates also push the G502 X series to 44,000 DPI, and new colorways expand the G305 X and Astro lines.
This broad refresh could intensify competition in the peripheral market, giving esports players and streamers more specialized tools at various price points. Improved power efficiency and tuning options may reduce downtime and enhance performance for competitive users, while creator-focused features like AI noise reduction could lower production barriers for casual streamers. However, frequent product cycles may pressure consumers to upgrade, and the impact on casual gamers remains modest unless they adopt these niche features.
